RESPECT Basketball League
The RESPECT League is more than just basketball. Young men and women ages 18-25 will couple athletics with education and interpersonal skills training. Each player will be required to take part in an hour-long training session each week around such topics as anger management, substance abuse, job skills, and nutrition.
League games are played every Sunday from June 8 through July 20 at the Central YMCA. There will be a bye week for all teams on July 6. August 3 will be the RESPECT Day Banquet.
The Championship Game will be held July 27 at a place yet to be determined.
