Pooch Pentathlon
Sunday, September 20
21st Year!
Here is a chance for man’s best friend to show off in a multi-event known as the Davis Family YMCA Pooch Pentathlon. With five events to compete in, your canine is sure to find at least one that fits. Awards will be presented to the Top Dog in each event for each division.
Please arrive early on race day to register for specific events. Dogs may participate in as many of the five events as they please.

Pet owners are encouraged to bring favorite toys and treats.
Not sure if your dog is ready to compete? No problem! We invite all vaccinated dogs to enjoy Open Swim from 12:30-2:30 pm. Registration is required.
Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
Small and Medium dogs compete from 1-2 pm.
Large dogs compete from 2-3 pm.
Small Dogs: under 12″
Medium Dogs: 12″-20″
Large Dogs: over 20″
ALL DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH and HAVE PROOF OF RABIES VACCINATION THE DAY OF THE EVENT (NO EXCEPTIONS!).
When registering, please register under YOUR name (not your dog’s) and answer the questions. If you are registering more than one pooch, please give us ALL their names. Don’t delay…the fee goes to $10 (per dog) after September 14th! Dogs registered by September 14 will also receive a commemorative certificate.

This is for owners who just want to introduce their furry friend to the water without the pressure of competing.
