When school is out, the Davis Family YMCA is the place to be! Whether it’s a scheduled school day off, holiday break or an unexpected closure due to inclement weather, our Off School program provides a safe, engaging environment where children can stay active, build friendships, and continue learning through fun, hands-on experiences. Each day is filled with enriching activities, games, creative projects, and opportunities to grow in a caring and supportive setting.

Please remember to pack a healthy lunch and snack, athletic shoes, swimsuit and towel. No extra spending money is required or needed. These items will ensure your child is fully prepared for a day of excitement and activity!

Our day runs from 9:00 am-4:00 pm. We offer Extended Hours 8:00-9:00 am and/or 4:00-6:00 pm for $5 per day. Field Trip days incur an additional fee.

We follow the Boardman Local Schools calendar for scheduled school days off and closures.

If your child is NOT enrolled in our After School program at the Davis Family Y, you will need to complete a digital enrollment packet and pay the $40 Enrollment Fee. If the packet and fee are not completed, you will not be able to register for any Off School days.
