No previous painting experience required! 

We will be guided through the steps of creating our painting by our own artist, Nick Galipo. Enjoy the experience while sipping on hot cocoa.

Each time we meet, we will work on a seasonal masterpiece!

December 7

Canvas & Hot Cocoa

Students will learn the basics of drawing, including styles and techniques, perspective, and shading. Pen and ink will be incorporated into the drawing process as the class progresses. Students work at their own pace.  Some drawing skills recommended.  Supply list will be available at the desk.

Drawing & Mixed Media Combined

Using a variety of styles, students will create beautiful images by layering color in pencil renderings.  Some drawing skills recommended. Supply list will be available at the desk.

This is a 3-week class. We do not meet December 26 or January 2.

Ages 6-10

Homeschool students will be introduced to a variety of art and technique styles using paints, markers, graphite, collage, and more.

Painters with Experience

Geared toward students who have some previous painting experience. Format is a studio class, students working on their own paintings, at their own speed, with individual instruction as needed. Informal art history and constructive critiques will help further students’ knowledge of art in broader terms. A supply list is available at the Service Desk.

The Thursday class is 5 weeks as there is no class on Thanksgiving Day.

Adult Classes

You have permission to play in the mud! Create your own pottery using both hand-built and wheel-thrown techniques. All supplies are provided.

Students will learn (or expand on previous skills) the fundamentals and techniques for creating art using watercolor paints. This class is suitable for beginners and more advanced students. A supply list is available at the Service Desk.

Ages 5-8
