The Davis Family YMCA’s Youth in Government program affords students the opportunity to write their own legislative bill and debate it in the actual Ohio Senate/House Chambers in Columbus. Our program participants will spend one weekend a year with other teen teams from throughout Ohio to debate and secure passage of their proposed bill. The program culminates with a visit to the Chambers in Columbus where students present their bills.

Students meet the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Middle school meets in the fall (September -November) while high school meets January-May.

Fundraising opportunities are available. Full payment is due before the Assembly.
