Welcome to FasKidz!

Same starting line, new goals! For 15 years, the YMCA FasKidz running program has created for kids, a real connection to the sport of running by making it fun, challenging, and always fresh. Many have gone on to make a name for themselves in middle school, high school and beyond or just run to keep in shape, all because they were introduced to this great sport at an early age.

Children ages 8-12 learn proper running form, training methods, basic nutrition, how running affects their body, running etiquette, racing strategies and more. The season ends on Memorial Day with an all-out, one mile race experience at the “Memorial Mile” in Boardman.

We meet Mondays and Thursdays beginning Thursday, April 18 from 4:45 to 5:45 pm. Additional details will be available the first week of the program. Registration includes a team FasKidz shirt and entry into the Memorial Mile race.
