Spring Swim Skills & Drills
This program, held at the Central YMCA, is great for children and teens ages 6-18 to transition from swim lessons to swim team, as well as competitive swimmers who want to maintain conditioning between seasons. At every level, swimmers will work with trained swim coaches to improve technique and endurance. Beginners must be able to pass the Deep Water Test followed by swimming one length of backstroke.
Group 1: Beginners & First-Time Participants – Mon/Tue/Thu 4:45-5:30 pm*
Group 2: Intermediate (assessment required) – Mon/Tue/Thu 5:30-6:30 pm
Group 3: Advanced (assessment required) – Tue/Thu 6:30-8:00 pm and M/W/F 5:00-7:00pm
*Swim assessments for new participants will be held April 14.
